    To ensure your serving trays remain food safe and looking their best, we recommend you do the following:

    • Apply a liberal amount of food safe mineral oil to both slate and wood surfaces (avoid resin areas). After 24 hrs buff out excess oil with a clean cloth making sure to protect your working surface during the process. Re-apply when the finish starts to dull.
    • Hand wash only in warm soapy water.
    • Avoid cutting on resin to prevent scratching.

    Please note that the resin used on all of our functional art is BPA free, non-toxic and 100% food safe.
